To a theoretical and historical brief introduction to the development of the avant-garde art of the 20th century, a concrete experimentation of several contemporary techniques will follow, that have inspired or are the basis of the various movements: Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Metaphysic, Dadaism, Surrealism, Abstract, Informal, Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Arte Provera, Land Art, and Performing Arts.

The use of oil paint, assembly of materials, artistic photography, and the use of poor media and up to the conceptual art, students will have the opportunity to experiment the diversity of the artistic language of the '900. It will directly enrich their expressive vocabulary and enable them to more easily acquire knowledge and style.
